Cairnies Quay is a community-led effort to protect, restore and sustain a vital part of Largs'coastal heritage.
We are building a self-sustaining future for the Quay through affordable moorings, environmental stewardship, and a careful revival of its on shore facilities.
This is not a project of words. It is a place of work,care and long-term commitment.
1. Moorings & Access
Providing affordable alternatives to marinas and maintaining safe access to the water.
2. Restortion & Facilities
Repairing and improving infrastructure including public toilets, shelters and future community spaces
3. Environment & Shoreline
Beach cleaning, seabed care, and supporting marine life across the Quay.
Cairnies Quay is open to anyone who wants to contribute. Whether you are a mooring holder, dinghy sailor , angler , diver, volunteer or supporter theres a place for you here.
